Overview: In this project, I had the opportunity to create a dog CBD brand and website. As someone who works in the veterinary field, I was excited to combine my passion for design with my love for animals. I used design patterns that are modern and fit with familiar veterinary packaging styles.
Laika CBD is a brand dedicated to improving the health and well-being of dogs through the power of CBD. We believe CBD is a powerful tool for addressing various health issues in dogs, including anxiety and chronic pain. The brand is committed to utilizing the latest scientific research to guide product development and ensuring the use of only the highest quality, organic ingredients.

FONTS AND COLOR
The overall feel I wanted with the brand is to be mordern and aimed towards new and younger pet parents, the colors are more vibrant to pop from competitors packaging and use fonts that easy to read and Advent pro was perfect with multiple weights , for headers I used Zcool the shape of the font has a angles of a hexagon which is a motif I picked out that connects to science.
TThe hero of the brand is Laika, the dog who was sent into space in the 1950s but sadly did not return to Earth. I incorporated her presence by featuring her silhouette within a Kekulé structure.
I also wanted to honor two other hero dogs from Laika's era, Belka and Strelka, who were also sent to space. I included them on the packaging as a tribute to their stories.
Packaging
For the packaging, I used three brand colors to differentiate the three types of CBD products we offer: one with glucosamine, one designed for dogs with meat allergies, and a dark green option for the original flavor. All products are packaged in resealable bags made from recycled materials, featuring a small window to show how many treats are left—perfect for on-the-go use.
Showcasing for the social media sectiom for the site and brand I wanted to show that every dog is a hero no matter age or breed, I kept the hexagon shape from the brand into the template to be easily recognizable when people are scrolling.
